Just....look at this beauty.

OK. So, got my new phone, HTC One X! It's so awesome I love it. Loveitloveitloveitloveit. 

I had the option to choose between gray (or black I forget) or white. Since my old X10 was black, I decided to switch it up a bit and go with the lighter (literally) feel. 

I'll see if I can take more pictures of my new baby, with something else 'cause I don't think I can take a picture of my phone with my phone. YEP. If you find out something that does it, let me know ;) 

I also got a phone case, but it came after the phone so it's not pictured. I'll definitely grab another camera for more photos! Oh yea, case is transparent. Cool is the right word.

Went home for the long weekend...well I went home for like a day and a half, and I came back. Sure weekend back I know, I went back mainly for some winter clothes and restock on snacks and whatnot...omg speaking of snacks, I got too much. Really. Just look:

It's also gotten quite cold out, so you can legitimately experience all four season in one week. Good job New England *nervous laughter* 

Been sleeping way too late. It's almost 1 am so I'm gonna head off really really soon. Today's been busy, woke up...past noon, ate, read, went to the mall and wasted A GOOD 4 HOURS because 1)the bus decided that it didn't want to go to the mall the first route because (unknown reason) there's a potato on the floor or something, 2) this homeless-looking woman on the bus couldn't decide what stop she wanted to get off, so she stopped the bus at every possible stop and peeked out the door; got the bus driver quite upset but oh well 3)ONCE AGAIN the bus threw a tantrum or something and didn't come at 5:20 and we waited almost 45 mins for the other one. It was freezing out :( 

On another note, my awesome friend Ariel is HAVING HER RECITAL IN RENO BUT IT'S SO FAR AWAY AND I CAN'T GO. Everything I think of this I get so sad :( She like inspired me to go back to piano again and now she's having her recital and I can't be there :'( I know she'll be great. I'm sorry, beyond great, she's gonna stun her audience so much that everyone got fireworks for her and stuff. No doubt ;) 

Ariel, you'll do great! I miss you!! xD

Oh, I got an idea. Let's list out the things that school has been preventing me from doing: 

1. Writing Leira... this makes me sad, because this will take a while and I want to get it done as soon as possible >< Actually, make this as play the keyboard because I haven't even touched the keyboard really in two-three weeks :(
2. Read for fun. Honestly there's been so much reading I haven't been able to catch up; there's like 75% of HeLa I need to read, and LOTS of history, and some biochem. Essentially, I have assigned readings for all classes and it sucks. 
3. Gym. Seriously if I go to gym I lose so much time for reading / homework that I'll just end up sleeping late. 
4. Grocery shopping. And I guess cooking too. We have a completely renovated kitchen that I haven't even touched yet. What is this. 
5. Game. I played like one match of LoL today and that was only because I finished my essay. I still need to read HeLa but I just couldn't read and work with words anymore so I had to stop or my brain was gonna melt. 

And WORK prevents me from doing HOMEWORK. You can see how everything stacks upon each other and everything is just brown cow crazy. I'm not really trying to complain about my 20 credits and my job because I got myself into this (damnit even that sounds negative) but I guess I'm just trying to organize my desires and workload here, so I get a clearer sense of my school year and how to improve my time management. Or something. But yea I'm still complainin'. Sowwy :3 

Ok, last two things. 

First, I definitely haven't posted this yet but...I broke my high school graduation mug :(  I was trying to open the window a few days ago, and I stepped towards the window from the side of my desk and tried to open it but had no leverage. As I tried to shift my weight and move in closer to the window I accidentally pushed the shelf on my desk and my mug happened to be on it. The shelf FELL FORWARD and the mug just...died :( It was a very sad day. After I went back home for Columbus weekend I got another mug from home, but it's not the same. Oh well, be more careful and never put my mug (or anything...breakable) on my shelf. Too risky because I'm a derp sometimes.

finals chaos

Wow I haven't posted in a while, terribly sorry guys :( It's close to finals week and it's all what I have been preparing for. 


Well, I don't remember much of what has happened after I posted the last entry....so I guess I'll just update mah reader on my plan for the day~


Gonna go grab lunch soon. 
Then getting my orgo lab OWLs outta the way
Then continue my scientific paper
Then go do physics take home with friends
Then go eat
Then go watch Flubber in the Bowl! :D 
If time allows, I'll play a game of LoL.

old texts

*About me moving to a different town*

Me: Well, it feels like going away. 

You: You're not going that far away.

I don't know what got me to look at those old texts. Maybe I was just cleaning out some stacked message threads; maybe I was just scrolling all the way to the bottom and saw people that only I start to text; maybe it was because of the names; maybe because I should have deleted those a while ago. 


Yes, it is far away. Even though it's only about 2-3 miles away from my old town, now I never really leave the house unless I have a car. Do you know what that means? It means that when it gets too quiet, and the silence too loud, my heart will decide that it misses everyone. 


And having a car is actually a decently rare occasion. 


That means that I usually just stay home and, unfortunately, be antisocial. Of course, I try to hang out with people, but now that I live an inconvenient distance from everything (literally everything and everywhere), hanging out is farther down the drain than I wanted it to be.

You know, it's not just your text. There are so many others in which conversations began because of me, and it stacks from my side for a few in a row until there's a reply. Or, it'd be a few weeks before the friend says "hi." 

I don't know, why do I try? 


*sigh* All of this past and memory thing are coming back to annoy me again. =/ So tired. 


I want a dog.

school everywhere

Sorry to have gone on a hiatus for posting. School started back up a week ago and it's been rather hectic in terms of finding classes, organizing schedules, buying textbooks and materials and whatnot, fixing calendar and exam dates, etc etc. 


Honestly, I bought like $300 worth of textbook and materials already and it would've been about another $150 if I didn't find one of them online. I may very well be planning on selling these back Q.Q 


So let's see, first weekend! I feel like it's a good time to breakdown my classes just a bit first:


Molecular Biology: I'm super excited for this class; Prof Francis will be teaching it via diseases and honestly, this is gonna be great. You know they should just teach biology based on House episodes, how sweet would that be~ I guess the only unfortunate part is the weekly quizzes, just like Bio 100 and 101. Ohhhh well. 


Organic 2: So far so good, it's been two lectures or so and we've been learning about NMR an related spectroscopy techniques. I think he is acceptable with his currently method of elaboration. I don't particularly like his note-taking style, but maybe it's just some getting used-to. 


BioChem Lab: Oh man, this lab is gonna be long as hell. But at the same time we'll be learning recombination DNA and restricting enzymes and we'll get to use lab coats and it's just gonna be an awesome lab experience. Those multichannel pippetes are the coolest thing ever xD


Physics 2 - Obviously, nothing really to say about this class. Heath Hatch = the man with his awesome demos and crystal clear explanations. Looking forward to this class as well. 


Genetics - Still waiting on the text book, but this class is so far interesting, but I can sense the difficult parts coming in with all these new ideas and new terms. It will get tough nevertheless interesting.

Thinking of going to the mall today, probably not if I can't find ppl to go with. I should go deposit some munny but it'll be a waste of time if I don't do something else at the mall and go just to deposit munny. Mhm. Oh well in any case, getting wings tonight!

I get weird dreams

Yep. I totally do. Like the dream I had last night. From what I remembered, I was hugging someone in the dream, I forget who, and I could feel distinguished squeezes from that person very clearly. I could feel her periodic squeeze from the hug, and I think they semi woke me up because the next thing I knew was it was just my quilt. I tried to remember the squeezes and I could still feel the lingering sensation. Weird as hell. 


Oh well, that's for that. I'm still waiting for a few mangas to come out, sucks that JUMP took a week off. Should be out tmw. Oh, speaking of manga, I need to catch up on One Piece. :) 


Also, I got a mail from my new pen-pal! Along with the fact that it's also not from the US (but from UK!), I'm super excited to write more actual letters. Reminds me of how I found this image with a method to send letters for free (without a stamp, in the US that is) by switching the return address and the destination address. Haha, what ingenious idea. Best part is she's also a YELLOWCARD FAN YESSSSS. :D Hokay I'm done.

all nighters

....LAN parties, and 6am breakfasts. Haven't done this in a while x) Kinda not healthy, but that's why the rarity. I also realized two things. 
One: still haven't finalized my build for Wukong. 
Two: All-nighters make you feel like you're floating in water. 


All and all, the party was fun. LoL, watched My Little Ponies for an hour (honestly don't know why but it was great), some Terreria, some played Pandemic, and then we went for breakfast at Franny's around 6am. 


Parents were a bit hesitant since I didn't tell them that it was an all-nighter, but then again, if only I knew also...


And my dad wasn't feeling well so my mom brought him to the hospital for tests. He's gonna stay overnight for observation. He should be fine. He exaggerates a lot, but just in case, ya know. He's just too tired and stressed. 


Pushing back my Boston plan till Saturday. Oh well.

just like old times

There's a LAN party tonight, planned around 7pm at a friend's house till whenever, a potential sleep over also. I probably won't sleep over, but a good-old LAN party is probably overdue by now x) 


On another note, I went to this Korean restaurant in Boston the other day, and while it was the first time I tried Korean food, and I gotta say, it was amazing. Here's the place:

It might have been expensive ($30 for me...) probably because I was with my cousin. And friends. I kinda ordered two meals, hence the 30. Other than that I think it's not that expensive and pretty much in price range. 


With that note, I might go there again with some of my other friends. :) 


Oh, and I wonder how long it takes for le love to update.... x) 

16 and dropping

I think it is worthy to note that after I came home from college the weather suddenly dropped 20 degrees. I actually brought my scarf over to college and back, never used it, and I took it out just yesterday for the 16-degree weather. Interesting, eh? 


Finally got a haircut today, my hair is unbelievably bushy. =.=|


Another note, this facebook timeline thing is kinda ridiculous. Facebook is so constantly challenging people's visual analytic skills, now with that timeline thing right in the middle of the page. And they still need to fix the chat box. 


Speaking of that, Google+ is still kinda in the dark corner...oh well. 


There is apparently this promotion thing for tumblr. I'm still confused. Haha. 


Got back to LoL...so rusty....
